The hotel had valet parking, which was great for my fancy car. The staff helped with currency exchange, so I didn't have to deal with my billions of dollars.
Oh, and there was this little inconvenience of the nearest airport being so far away. How inconvenient!

Our room at Lanta Chaolay was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely terrace where we could relax and enjoy the view. The air-conditioned double room had a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved that some units at the hostel had balconies, giving us a chance to soak up the breeze and take in the surroundings.
Personally, we weren't too fond of the electric kettle in the double room, but we understand that others might find it useful.

The double room at Lanta Chaolay was absolutely amazing! The room had a cozy terrace where I could enjoy the breathtaking view. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept me entertained, and the private bathroom was clean and modern. It felt like a perfect home away from home.
Although the room was wonderful, I personally didn't like the fact that there was no balcony. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might still enjoy it!

Always choose this place: helpful staff served my elderly parents nicely. Perfect for me: Wi-Fi, kettle, A/C, laundry, TV. No pets. Shuttle paid. Great for weekend stays.

We got great value for our money at Lanta Chaolay! The room was clean, well-equipped, and exceeded our expectations in terms of size and quality. The location was convenient, close to the ferry and diving centers, yet quiet at night. The staff treated us well and the rooftop area was a lovely bonus.
The only thing that could make the breakfast option better would be a wider variety of choices.

Stayed at a charming hotel with unbeatable sea view balcony. the room was magical, decorated in a modern industrial style with concrete walls and naked lightbulbs. Perfect location near restaurants, shops, and cafes. Highly recommend Not a toy Cafe for breakfast. Ideal base to explore Phi Phi and Phuket, with ferry terminal just 2 minutes away. Multiple dining options, Thai massage places, and travel agencies nearby.
Friendly staff and free unlimited wifi. Cons: Nothing could have been better.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at a modern and clean accommodation near the pier. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Although the water pressure in the shower was inconsistent, the overall experience was positive. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the area.

I recently stayed at Lanta Chaolay for 4 nights during my trip to Koh Lanta. The hostel exceeded my expectations with its modern and clean rooms. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the ferry pier and surrounded by great restaurants. Plus, the hotel had a fridge and electric kettle in the room, making my stay even more convenient.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Great location - just a short walk to 7-11 and famous restaurants. The hostel's loft-style decor creates a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and could communicate in English. Free unlimited wifi was a plus. The comfortable bed allowed for a deep sleep all night.
A bit far from the beach, not within walking distance. However, scooter rental is available to easily reach the beach.

the room was amazing, super clean, and had modern amenities. the staff were helpful and assisted with scooter rental, ferry, and tours. the receptionist, although limited in English, was very friendly and always available. the highlight of my stay was when I forgot my sunglasses during check-out and they went out of their way to personally deliver them to me in Krabi. Such amazing customer service!
Didn't dislike anything about the property.
